Job description
Roles and Responsibilities
Knowledge of DFMA methods for mass production with tool based experience is a plus.
Design 3D Models and 2D Manufacturing Drawings with GD and T application in SolidWorks and AutoCad.
Good understanding of fixture design and manufactures.
Design the principles of robots structure, joint mechanisms, drives, bearings, housings, casings, heat transfer characteristics, etc.
The job requires a highly capable and competent design person who can work independently and when required as part of a team to:.
Validating / checking the mechanical system using software (Ansys / Adams) backed up with hand calcs, FEA, etc.
Work experience with a Design Consulting company will be an added bonus.

Desired Candidate Profile
Good English communication is a must.

Working knowledge of tolerance stack up analysis is beneficial but not mandatory.
Knowledge of blow molded part design is a plus but not mandatory.
Having experience of consumer goods/electronics, medical devices, rugged industrial/military is an added advantage.
Knowledge of Riser diagram and valves.
Key Skills : Complete knowledge of design engineering and solidworks in detail.
